Last year, I went to New York and saw an exhibition at the Cooper Hewitt Museum. It was above all a way to think about the new fashion industry and the «savoir faire » and about taking time to think about Time.
I mean we live in a world where everything has to be done quickly and faster than before and this is killing the true fashion industry. Think about it, for exemple now people are more preoccupied about new trend and in How long they will have to wait to get it, than being concerne by which materials are being used? Who did it? Where?
This is the true challenge that we have to work on.
During my walk at the first floor, I saw the work of the Peele Ogarami Choshi (silk), the work of Givitex company who is an Italian brand and the work of the hand-spun, hand woven brocaded cotton.
It made me think, is it really possible to do fashion and thinking about the environment and at the same time being accessible for everyone? Is it even possible to have a real sustainable brand on those day?
I watched short movies about the step of the Peele Ogarami Choshi who is the work of the silk and it hit me. We lost all the « hand made work », all the step of the creation, and the appreciation of what we are wearing.

Being sustainable is not a hobby, is not even a right. We have to think that all we do in this earth matter. What heritage are going to give to our children?
Fashion is dieing and it’s because and this industry, this world were you have to consume more and more.
When you look the work on of Lurex company, it’s so fashionable. It’s the work of metallic yarns add to simple product like bags, dresses, necklaces. You don’t need lot of things, just Time to think of what you want to sell, you have to give a saoul to your product because fashion is not just the product but the story around it. Most of all, this is even more luxury than every fashion and luxury brand you can find on the market.
